WHAT WE DO

The Comprehensive Care Center (CompCare) is the only freestanding sub-acute skilled nursing facility in the Southeast region of the United States. We offer short and long-term care to some of the most medically fragile and technologically dependent infants, children, and young adults in the nation.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff delivers state-of-the-art medical, educational, therapeutic, and
recreational care to residents based on individual needs. Each child’s needs are addressed through individual
treatment plans, and care is provided until the child is medically stable and can be moved to a less restrictive
environment. The goal upon discharge is to send the child home with a network of care and support services to
help maintain the child’s health and happiness in their own home environment.
By partnering with clients and their families, Broward Children’s Center’s CompCare has been able to pioneer the
development of community-based medical, educational, social, psychological, and recreational programs for those
we serve. Our mission is to deliver field-leading programs that promote the greatest quality of life for infants,
children, and young adults with special healthcare needs.
